We spent the afternoon at Christy's and baby Alexa's home. Melanie and her sweet baby boy Will also joined us. It was rainy afternoon in San Francisco, perfect for Irish coffees - it has become one of my favorite beverages - Christy and I have been experimenting with different ways of making it and these were particularly delicious. Our play date was so lovely and we discussed lots of topics as we watched our babies play.
Luke had fun on his tummy trying so hard to move forward but only moved backwards. William was so impressive as he explored his surrounding with great curiosity and miss Alexa enjoyed the sights from her sitting position. Luke got a couple of wacks from both Alexa and William as they tried curiously to investigate his blue helmet. He also got a free bath from Rio and Jazz - two friendly and very engaging Australian black labs.
It was such a lovely afternoon. Christy and I have made a point to meet once a week for an afternoon of play time. We really enjoy our time together and I think our babies are finally starting to enjoy their time together too...even if Lukey gets a wack now and then...he quickly forgets and just smiles.
