Bend, Oregon Holiday Feb 12-16th

Luke's holiday was full of first: We took Luke to the snow for the first time. We were picked up by a Limousine at the airport - his first ride on one ever. It was also his first time meeting his big cousin Madeline who lives in London. Our weekend was full of activities as we were attending a wedding, celebrating our family gathering (Steve's older sister, husband and two year old live in London), celebrating Valentine's Day and our Anniversary; a fun time was held by all!

Luke and Madeline were adorable together. Luke was so fascinated by Madeline's hair - he has none - she has a full head of bountiful curls. Madeline used Luke as "preview to coming attractions"; her mommy is expecting her baby brother/sister. She loved being the big cousin and had a great time using him as a pillow, putting chap stick on his lips - she basically filled Luke's only two teeth with green chap stick and I think he ate half a stick - placing stickers all over him, and making him wear her flower tiara. She also loved munching on Luke's teething giraffe, Sophie. She also attempted to feed him nuts and cheerios. Madeline was disappointed as he could not join her in her foodie adventures.

We took Luke snowshoeing. He had fun on his first trip to the snow and loved the days that snowed. He did get a little cold and towards the end of our trip was feeling a little cranky. He loved coming home to his toys and his own little bed. It was so nice to get away, but being home is all so nice!
